Details

A coat built for grey mornings and long walks — cut in the British tradition, softened by the Mediterranean hand of the house. The Ashcombe falls just above the knee, the length that flatters a suit as easily as a knit and denim, and holds its line whether buttoned against the wind or worn open with hands in pockets.

The cloth
A substantial 50% wool blend, milled with a quiet, dry surface that resists shine and creasing. Warm without weight, it drapes rather than stiffens, and improves with the season as the fibres settle to the shoulders of the man wearing it.

The details
Notch lapel with a clean roll. Single-breasted front. Set-in sleeves and a lightly structured shoulder that follows the body rather than squaring it. Deep welt pockets, fully lined body for easy layering over tailoring or heavy knitwear.

Colour
Offered in Grey — the neutral that reads correct in every city — and Dark Coffee, warmer and softer against camel, cream and navy.

How to wear it
Over a charcoal suit for the working week. Over a cream rollneck, flannel trousers and suede loafers on Saturday. Collar up, nothing in the hands.

Fit & sizing
Sizes M–3XL. Cut on Asian sizing, which runs one to two sizes smaller than European and American measurements — we recommend sizing up, and sizing up again if you intend to wear it over tailoring. Allow 2–3cm variance on manual measurement, and consult the size chart before ordering.

Care
Dry clean. Brush after wear, hang on a broad wooden hanger, and let it rest a day between wearings.

The coat arrived pressed, wrapped and heavier than I expected — in the good way. I have worn it three times a week since November and it still looks new.

Bought the wool coat before a winter in Boston. It has outperformed two American labels I paid twice as much for.

The wool coat is superb. The polo, less so for my build — a touch short in the body. Still, I would call the house dependable.
