The Lucerne Waffle Knit Half-Zip Set

The Lucerne is cut from a waffle-textured cotton blend — a half-zip long-sleeve top and a straight trouser, made to be worn together and rarely apart. It is the uniform of an unhurried morning, and it reads considered rather than casual.

The texture does the work. Waffle knit gives the cloth a soft relief that catches light without shine, so a solid colour reads as depth rather than flatness. The zip opens to a clean collar; the trouser falls straight from the hip with no break in the line. Nothing shouts. That is the point.

Black, white, grey and khaki. The khaki is the one that ages best beside leather and linen; the grey is the one you will reach for most.

How to wear it

With suede loafers or a low white sneaker, and nothing else — the set is complete on its own. Zip to the throat when the air turns; open it over a fine cotton tee when it doesn't. Add an unstructured jacket and it carries an evening.

Sizing

Cut to Asian sizing, which runs one to two sizes smaller than European and American measurements. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger. Available S through XXXL. Allow 2–3 cm variance on measurements taken by hand. Screen calibration may shift colour slightly from the photographs.
