The Cassis Lyocell Knit Polo

A knitted polo in pure lyocell — the shirt for warm months when a tee is too little and a shirt is too much. The Cassis is cut close and thin, with a soft knit collar that stands on its own and a placket that sits flat whether buttoned or open. Worn tucked, it passes for tailoring. Worn loose, it stays elegant.

Lyocell is the reason. Spun from wood pulp, it drapes like silk, breathes better than cotton, and holds a cool hand against the skin through a long afternoon. It resists creasing, takes colour deeply, and softens with every wash rather than tiring.

The cut

• Slim fit through chest and body

Colours

Milky white, black, green and maroon. The white is the one to own first; the maroon is the one that makes it look deliberate.

How to wear it

Tucked into pleated trousers with a leather belt and loafers for lunch. Left out over linen shorts by water. Under an unstructured jacket, collar open, for anything after dark.

Sizing

Cut to Asian sizing, which runs one to two sizes smaller than European and American measurements. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger. Available M through 3XL — shoulder 39–43 cm, chest 92–108 cm. Allow 2–3 cm variance on measurements taken by hand. Screen calibration may shift colour slightly from the photographs.
