The Whitmore Three-Piece Suit

Three pieces, one intention. A slim-cut jacket, a matching waistcoat and trousers that finish clean at the shoe — the kind of suit that carries a man through a wedding, a boardroom and a long dinner without ever asking to be noticed.

The cloth is substantial with a soft hand, holding its line through a full day and falling back into shape overnight. The waistcoat is the quiet luxury here: keep the jacket on for formality, take it off and you are still fully dressed.

Wear it with: a white or pale blue shirt and a knitted tie for daytime; open collar and leather derbies for evening. Beige for summer weddings, grey for the city, black when the occasion is serious.

Fit: cut slim through the chest and waist. Sizing follows Asian standards, one to two sizes smaller than European and American cuts. If you sit between sizes, take the larger, and consult the measurement chart below before ordering.

Care: dry clean only. Hang on a broad wooden hanger and let the cloth rest a day between wears.
